Handmade boulder opal ebony and silk necklace 3

This interesting handmade necklace gets its inspiration from a Tiffany design of the 1920s. I love it beacause of its boldness and simplicity.

The boulder opal center is surrounded by an ebony frame which itself is set into a sterling silver backing.

The pendant hangs from a Black Japanese silk braid which is also hand made.
