Handmade silver mens ring with alchemical symbol for arsenic
This handmade sterling silver ring is decorated with another variation of the alchemical symbol for arsenic in 18K gold.
The elemental alchemy symbol arsenic was
used for medicinal and magical cures. A compound of arsenic
and sulphur were said to induce trances of enlightenment and
philosphical ascention and direction.
The rich texture on the band is achieved by bringing the silver close to its melting point and allowing small ripples to naturally form on the suface.
With this technique no two rings ever end up having the same texture. This technique is only found on handmade silver jewellery.
